Week Beginning Friday, Nov. 18th, 2011

Autumn Fog ~ by Scott Anna follow on Facebook

To Schedule a Session with Jean

Mercury—the planet that rules over our thoughts, articulation, travel, cars, communications, and commercial transactions—is retrograding on November 24th (Thanksgiving Day) at 20 degrees Sagittarius. The energy pulls inward and favors introspection, planning, review, servicing cars and equipment, editing activities in writing and presentations, and revisiting former sales prospects.

What is NOT favored during Mercury retrograde periods are large purchases (electronics, cars, homes), the signing of new and binding contracts, initiating lawsuits, and new marketing and public relations campaigns. Back up your computers, send cc’s when emailing, and repeat yourself often and simply, knowing that the communication process between people is skewed and irregular. This is a time to gather additional information and remember that we do not have all the facts with which to make knowledgeable decisions. Mercury will begin to inch forward on December 14th.

The Sun shifts into Sagittarius on the 22nd followed by a square to Chiron (as Venus and Mercury did earlier this month). This highlights sensitivity within our identity and ego needs. The Sun then trines Uranus, allowing us to swiftly adjust to next steps. Mars trines Pluto on the 23rd, supporting mindful action and the right use of power. Resources flow under this alignment.

ARIES: The past month of endings, inheritances, loans, real estate, and psychological concerns now shifts and encourages you to think “big picture.” Through mid-December review plans related to travel, publishing, higher education, and your world view. Although the Eclipse on the 25th will encourage confident forward movement, wisdom dictates that the slower you implement and plan, the better. Work and career blend beautifully on the 23rd.

TAURUS: As you go deeper with your intimate connections, what you think you know will shift and change over the coming Mercury retrograde phase. Please allow this. You will seek ultimate truths and trust, but the process is still in the process of manifesting. Rethinking loan arrangements, real estate transactions, and shared resources is time well spent. Wait until after mid-December to move on new agreements and conditions. Health and work place agreements are strongly supported on the 22nd when Venus sextiles Saturn.

GEMINI: Partnerships, relating patterns, and new alliances involve information and people from the past. The familiar seeks to merge with new starts in relationship dynamics. Agreements may be acted upon over the next few weeks only if the person or business involved is already a known quantity. You are encouraged to be extra diligent, thoughtful, and introspective around all your partnerships and your evolving manner of relating with self and others.

CANCER: Work, health regimes, and your daily schedule are up for review over the next three weeks of Mercury retrograde. If you are dealing with a niggling health issue, this is a time to gather information and revisit diagnosis. Those of you in the work place may find that the usual running of things becomes skewed, as deadlines and office machinery stage a revolt. Former coworkers may pop up and remind you of information that will help you with your job performance and scheduling. Fresh starts await, but inner knowledge and insights must be incorporated for the best results.

LEO: You are riding a creative wave as the Sun shifts from home and hearth into your 5th house of creativity, passion, and unique self-expression. Your earnings, talents, friendships, and network are part of the forward motion. Romance needs time, as communication between lovers slows down. Children and younger people play a role in your leisure activity over the next few weeks. Creative projects benefit from this slowing approach, and you take comfort in knowing that good things come in time – not necessarily in your time but at the right time.

VIRGO: Mercury retro periods tend to affect you more personally than most, as this tiny planet rules over your self-expression and outward reputation. That being known, take heart that this Mercury cycle focuses on your inner life – emotional wellbeing and family dynamics. New starts are indicated here, but known conditions, agreements, and intuitions must be part of the “new start” equation. Although you may feel rushed or anticipatory, you will be better served to slow the pace and know that more awareness is flowing your way for incorporation and integration.

LIBRA: The very core of your communication style has been—and continues to be—revamped and in a state of evolvement. Another level of development is upon you, but while the Solar Eclipse encourages the initiation of fresh projects, Mercury says “hold on.” Trust and allow the process unfolding over the Mercury retro period. You are in a developing stage of mental awareness and organization which still needs time to gel. Take notes, write, plan, and be the gatherer. Take extra time with your writing and communications, as Mercury affects your intuition, foreign contacts, and big picture.

SCORPIO: New opportunities in earnings are in the making and are laced with people and projects from the past (folks and situations you are familiar with). Please do not sign new employment contracts until after mid-December, since you simply do not have all the relevant information. If you are seeking to sell personal items, plan to have your garage/house sale after Mercury’s station. This IS a good time to continue with skill development and financial planning.

SAGITTARIUS: Happy Birthday! You are the recipient of both the New Moon Solar Eclipse and the Mercury station. You have been remaking, evolving, and shedding layers of skin, and now a new sense of self (think authentic) is emerging. Another layer of development is upon you, but Mercury suggests that you take the time to review your personal and relationship goals. Strong forward movement and change will come rapidly when your ruler Jupiter stations direct at the end of December. For now, trust that there is a purpose for the slowdown in communications with others (Mercury rules your house of partnership). Be extra diligent with your schedule, meetings, business agreements, and clients.

CAPRICORN: Ostensibly, the next few weeks show a quieting of outward activity as you enter the final month of your solar year (only to begin again in January). Yet, strong rumblings, inner movement, and a sense of stronger inner connectedness grow and evolve. A spiritual awakening? The next few weeks suggest a brilliant time to review your teachings, readings, and meditations regarding your connection to the energetic world. Studies in Law of Attraction serve you well, as your manifestation powers are bridging the gap of the unconscious and conscious mind. Review, revise, and clarify your desires and intentions – magic lies in wait.

AQUARIUS: My goodness, you are a social butterfly this month! Friends, networking, groups, teams, and socializing become extra active. Folks from your past will be popping up, too! Your goals and personal desires are burning for creative outlets and invigorating expression – go for it! But wait until after mid-December to launch new initiatives. Save yourself the time and energy, knowing that you haven’t got all the social contacts and creative facts in place quite yet.

PISCES: The holidays tend to be a busy time for you, both professionally and publically, and this year is no exception. A dizzying array of obligations and work commitments may be demanding your attention. Communications in these areas are open for miscommunication and misunderstandings, so the slower you process and respond, the better. New career avenues are opening up and involve people from your past or folks with whom you are acquainted. The past and future are uniting to move you forward to your next professional level of development.

Why Your Dreams Matter

Dreams have been an active part of my life all of my life.  Since I've been a kid they have been a omnipresent force in my reality.  Rebus is the representation of a phrase in the form of pictures.  The rebus of "raise in bread" can manifest in the picture form of baking raisin bread.  The car that is running low on gas in your dream suggests the need for rest and rejuvination.  Dreaming of waves overcoming the house you live in reflect your conscious feeling of being emotionally overwhelmed.

The prefrontal cortex, the part of our brain associated with logical thinking recedes to the background while dreaming and is overtaken by the limbic system which controls emotions.  Emotions are the driving force of the engine called humanity.  However you want to slice and dice it people make emotional decisions and then shape their rationalization to serve the emotional desire.

There is a fellow who is paid a lot of money in the car industry who studies the lizard brain.  He knows that humans don't make car purchases based soley on rational thought but on the emotions the vehicle evokes.  Body language experts will tell you that emotions don't lie and how often have you witnessed when the words don't match up to the body language?  Often, it flows all around us and all we need do is pay attention to what is really being communicated.

Dreams deal with emotions and much more.  It is one of the ways to connect directly to Source energy.  We are not hypocrites in our dreams we delve right into the heart of the matter without anything being put "on us."  Dreams aren't interested in social acceptability much like the influence of Pluto in the chart.  What needs to go?  What needs to stay?  How do we "really" feel about social mores and conditioning?

There was a period in my life when I was dreaming about snakes - frequently.  Have you have seen the documentary "The Corporation?"  It treats the corporate world as an entity, a living breathing force and how it impacts our behavior, ethics and ego.  The film likens corporations to psychopaths and paints a very convincing premise.

Often, the snake would be in my view but not dangerous.  My dream wanted to bring me "information" about a situation or perhaps a person's character.  If the snake actually bit me then I knew there was a real problem up ahead.  And, I did have a couple of dreams when the fangs made contact with my flesh and a then a viable problem of one sort or another would materialize within a three week period.  My time stamp in precognitive dreams appear within a three week or three month period.  It's just the way it works for me but would love to hear about your time lapse between dreaming and manifestation.

Precognitive dreaming, as I have written about before, is dreaming about something that seemingly happens in the future.  Many, many folks have precognitive dreams and don't even know it.   For me, differentiating between this type of dreaming and others is experienced as similar to viewing a film on a large movie screen.  I awake with very little emotional reaction yet aware of the relayed information.

How can that be?  How can you dream of future events?  Perhaps some important clues can be found in Einstein's theory of time as he believed that time may move in a spiral manner rather than the industrialized notion of linear.  Quantum physics suggests that there are alternative realities moving along a contiuum concurrently.

The subconscious mind, Soul or Spirit is the "observer" within our body and can see more than what the mind can consciously process.  This information is released and given pictorial voice while dreaming.

We incorporate learning, vent socially unacceptable emotions and feelings as well as ponder possibilities before manifesting.  For some, this connectedness is more developed than others but I believe we are all born with this avenue of exploration.

IF you are interested in remembering your dreams make that suggestion to your subconscious mind just prior to bedtime.  ASK that you begin to remember your dreams on a regular basis.  Keep a journal or record them upon awakening.  Patterns emerge while yet another layer of self-discovery is embarked upon.  ~

Week Beginning Friday, November 11th 2011

Outer Banks, NC ~ Photo Courtesy of Leticia Perry

Chiron is stationing direct on Friday the 11th. We are entering a long-term energy cycle of identifying hurts and wounds associated with our emotional experiences here on earth. Often, these imprints are buried within our consciousness and affect us in ways that are operating below the surface. Chiron’s transit of Pisces asks us to be aware of those wounding conditions in order to integrate and heal. We have a long time to work with this evolving awareness.

Mars opposes Chiron on the 12th and brings clues about the first leg of our Chiron journey. Being aware and available to receive the information this combination brings may help shed light on areas of wounding you’ve sustained during this incarnation.

Serving as a bridge, on the same day Saturn quincunxes Pluto. This creates tension between the need for security and caution and the simultaneous pull towards deep change and transformation. Pluto and Chiron will work in tandem to encourage the inner changes and healing being asked of us. This week is a time for sensitive awareness and self-compassion.

ARIES: As Chiron embarks on his forward movement through your house of the soul, hidden wounds, and the long-ago past, Mars brings flashes of insight. Look to your daily routines and health to ponder how your emotional climate intertwines with your physical health. Mars will transit the area of mind/body connectedness, co-workers, pets, and dependents. Identifying where you were imprinted through the “lack” of love and understanding correlates to your treatment of and relationships with those who work for and with you, as well as your levels of healthy self-care.

TAURUS: The wounded healer embarks upon his journey through your 11th house of wish fulfillment, social activities, and those you call friends. Have you sublimated some cherished dreams or ideals for fear of others’ judgment or critique? Mars move into an area that seeks authentic self-expression and creativity as his eight-month journey energizes your desire for individuation and heartfelt relating. Some of your associations will change, end, and bring into your experience compassionate “teachers.” Channel healthy ego expression.

GEMINI: Chiron alights in your 10th house of reputation, honors, and direction in life and career. This area of experience is deepening, unearthing, and fleshing out areas of discomfort and pain. Mars will help the process along by stirring up imprints and irritations from childhood. This is an excellent time to seek therapy and counseling and to lighten your load once and for all. Career directions that are no longer satisfying will be abandoned (forcibly for some of you). Chiron’s transit may see many Geminis moving more deeply into in the teaching and healing realms.

CANCER: Your mind, belief systems, and desire for taking in more of life are all under Chiron’s “get real” influence through 2019. The get real part has to do with philosophy and assumptions that cause discomfort and pain. Where they learned? What rings true for you? What needs to be left by the wayside? Mars is energizing your daily mind, communications, and thought patterns. Expect a moment of uncomfortable clarity this weekend, but go deeper and explore. You may come to understand that thoughts and ideas are simply that, constantly pulsating and moving.

LEO: Deep insights will unfold through the next decade as Chiron moves through your 8th house of psychology, how you approach intimacy, death, shared money/resources, and sex. Your ability and desire to partner may go through a number of stages – fear, tentativeness, desire, and ultimately the strength of vulnerability. Sound oxymoronic? It takes courage to be passionate and to honestly reveal ourselves to another. This can be an immensely healing time, especially for those seeking therapy and counseling. Mars is helping this energetic cycle unfold as you engage with your feelings of self-esteem, worth, the money you make, and things that you own. Pay attention to the connections.

VIRGO: Chiron moves forward in your partnership zone for a long, long visit. Partnerships can fall into the categories of personal, business, consulting, and “public.” Learning and evolution unfold around wounding and the others in your world. This is the area where people often project their own unacknowledged wounds unto others. Relationships are a mirror for our state of consciousness – who surrounds you and why? Mars stirs your ambitions and desires as he moves into your sign of identity, self-expression, and physical health. Look to this weekend for clues to where the need for healing is manifest.

LIBRA: The care of your health—both mind and body—will be a theme during Chiron’s transit. Interest in holistic healing is a strong probability too. Your services may involve healing, teaching, and holistic training. Additionally, some Scales may need to look to the wounds behind unhealthy behavior and addictions – this is a time when you can clear them up from the roots upward. Mars enters the area of working behind the scenes, family history, subconscious, and spirituality. You go “deep” in many ways during this eight-month period and are called to be of service.

SCORPIO: Your creative energy will be particularly affected by the Chiron transit through your 5th house of children, romance, and authentic passion. Pisces flows well with your sign, but through 2019 you are encouraged to get in touch with your childlike self – the passionate, open, honest, and divine self that suffered wounds in the areas of self-expression and receiving love. Romantically you may be attracted to people who carry these same wounds. Through July 2012 Mars will energize your beliefs and desires to influence friends and associates.

SAGITTARIUS: Our upbringing is a strong indicator of how confident and loving we grow to be in adulthood. If your family imprints and the parenting you received were less than ideal (true for many), Chiron’s transit will help you to bring to the surface those formative imprints in order to heal them. You may be dealing with family members going through their own addiction or painful issues. Mars is super charging your career ambitions and can help you to achieve a great deal over the next eight months, pay attention to what success means for you - not your parents or society but you!  Explore early upbringing and the influences that limited your beliefs around passion, job, career and community participation.

CAPRICORN: Your thoughts, mental habits, attitudes, relations with siblings, neighbors, and community will be deepened and changed by Chiron’s eight-year transit. The first leg of your journey may involve some wounding thoughts and communications, but as you raise your awareness and relate to your internal dialogue, transitions can occur. Where did the negative beliefs originate and why? Beliefs frequently do not reflect truth. Your mandate is to expand your beliefs to include loving compassion for self, first and foremost. Mars raises your ambitions and activities around promotions, marketing, teaching, healing, and travel.

AQUARIUS: Frequently, abundance issues are directly tied to self-esteem issues. If you hold beliefs that you are somehow unworthy or lacking in abilities, the result is a feeling of lack. Chiron is asking you to explore these areas reflecting your being “not enough.” When and why were they formed? Through your awareness you are given a special opportunity to clear the negatives and to connect with your innate abilities. These abilities are present and are waiting for you to compassionately step into them. Abundance flows through this grounded connection and acknowledgement. Mars works on the inner levels of psychological health and trust, unearthing areas of anger. Allow this to surface in order to clear it once and for all.

PISCES: Your very being will be affected by Chiron’s eight-year transit of your sign. Consider this a gift, although it may not feel especially benefic in the beginning. Your job is to heal and to transmute your personal experiences, especially those having to do with being hurt and wounding others in the process. As you move through this emotional landscape, compassion for self and forgiveness for the past are your anchors. Mars provides plenty of mirroring from others for the next eight months. How do you handle anger? What do you bring to the table of conflict?

Week Beginning Friday, November 4th 2011

Lunar Rainbow ~ Berta Campbell

REDUCED! All About You AND Your Partnership Service

Mercury and Venus are close traveling partners. They have now moved into Sagittarius after working through some deeper emotional elements while transiting Scorpio. These two energies suggest the uniting and congruency of heart and mind – very special! One is not beholden to the other as they align and create a clear bridge between our thoughts and feelings. Sagittarius is an energetic sign which appreciates and values the big picture, philosophy, and spirited playfulness. Education is especially favored, as the inflow of information is more easily digested and instinctively applied.  Note the Occupy Colleges movement in the Occupy Updates link below.

The Sun continues to transit through Scorpio until the 23rd and will bring greater conscious awareness, and desire to act when he moves into Sagittarius. Consider Mercury and Venus to be on a mission to gather knowledge and feelings. They will bring this information to the Sun (your identity) to be acted upon at the end of November. Your mind and heart will be asking for action—but there is a caveat. Mercury will be moving into retrograde on the 24th for a three-week snooze. JUST when you think you’ve gathered all the relevant information the Universe suggests that, no, there is more gathering to be done. Circle the third week in December for the jigsaw puzzle to begin to make sense.

Both Neptune and Chiron turn direct at the Full Moon in Taurus on/before the 10th. Luna’s fullness is not encumbered as she was last month by Saturn and is free of any stressful aspects. Culminations and awareness are experienced surrounding your values, money, and resources.

Neptune is finishing up his transit in Aquarius. This is an important time which tests and questions our developmental learning regarding humanity and compassion - Occupy Together Updates.  Chiron begins to gain traction in Pisces. This transit will last until 2019 and beckons us to become one with the whole. What we say and do individually has an effect on the collective, as energy is constantly in vibrational motion. Chiron requires us to heal our psychological and spiritual wounds. When we raise our vibration through healing and wellness we directly contribute to others in our world.

~REDUCED! All About You AND Your Partnership Service

~Fall 2011 Written Reports - $10.99

ARIES: Earnings and stuff that you own are highlighted at the Full Moon. Caution is advised on the 7th when Mars is surrounded by Neptunian fog, putting a haze over your goals and love life. Mercury and Venus are reveling in your 9th house of foreigners, education, travel, and publishing. Make hay now, since planning in these areas will become a one-step-forward, three- steps-back process towards the end of the month.

TAURUS: Luna reaches fullness in your sign and illuminates some home truths regarding your needs and identity. Venus and Mercury shift the focus from the needs of others and retreat into your 8th house of psychology, sex, and investments. This will continue to be an area of great change later this month…go while the going is good.

GEMINI: Energy begins pouring into your 7th house of partnerships, others, and the public. This is a power house area of playful banter (Venus/Mercury), confusion (Mercury retrograding), and new dynamics within relating patterns (the Solar Eclipse). Ready?

CANCER: Friends and networking activities take center stage at the Full Moon. Perhaps a dream or two is actualized then, too. Work, health, pets, and co-workers are the super charged areas for you this month. Mercury and Venus snuggle in to see you communicating more frequently and making nice with your cubicle cohorts. Get important deadlines out of the way before Mercury moves into full-fledged dysfunction.

LEO: Kids, relations with young people, romance, and your creative projects are floating on fluffy air for the first half of November, but then things get a little haywire. Expect that you will be redoing and revisiting issues, people, and projects that “you” thought were completed. Nope! The Full Moon brings closure around career and life direction.

VIRGO: Travel, teaching, lawsuits, publishing, and contacts with foreigners come to culmination and awareness at the Full Moon in your 9th house of Taurus. House, home, parents, and comfort warm up as Mercury and Venus ensconce themselves. Enjoy now, as this area is up for change, review, and surprise developments towards the end of the month.

LIBRA: Talking, communicating, writing, mini-trips, neighbors, siblings, and local community are the areas of much exchange and warmth. Another round of broadening your communication style and skills is upon you, but wait until mid-December for all of these energies to really begin to align. The Full Moon highlights sex, intimacy, inheritances, loans, psychological health (or illness), and investments.

REDUCED! All About You AND Your Partnership Service

SCORPIO: Money makes the world go around, the world go around, the world go around – your mantra this month. Value is important to you now, as is showing the world your unbridled creative talents. As the month unfolds these areas will become less certain, encouraging you to gather information and ponder your next steps. The Full Moon shines on your partnership house when agreements, commitments or endings are finalized.

SAGITTARIUS: You are still resting, Archer, and preparing for the Solar Eclipse in your sign at the end of the month along with the beginning of your new solar year. Yet Venus and Mercury are beckoning and promising humor, attraction, love, and the ability to manifest what you want. You are in re-do phase through mid-December – gathering information from the past that will coincide with the Solar Eclipse. The Full Moon signals a busy couple of days as your to-do list grows.

CAPRICORN: Rest, solitude, and connections with the divine and your evolutionary past are magnified over the next few weeks. Health and work concerns—either yours are another’s— may be soaking up your energy too. But the Full Moon promises a couple of joyful days as she illuminates your creative 5th house.

AQUARIUS: Friendships, alliances, personal goals, career, money, and invitations are pouring in as Mercury and Venus romp through your social 11th house. The 7th is not a day for clear understanding and confident action surrounding goals and friendships, so just wait. The Full Moon highlights your home, parents, and emotional comforts as awareness expands.

PISCES: Ready? Mars is entering your partnership house on the 10th for eight interesting and sometimes intense months. How do you get what you want through your relationships? This summer, your answer will be very different than it is now. Copious amounts of data may be flowing your way on the Full Moon as phone calls and emails come pouring in. A writing/teaching projects is coming to closure too.
