Week Beginning Friday, October 21st

Pluto, the transformer and major player in the Occupy the Planet movement, began moving forward in mid-September. Earlier this summer, while in retrograde, he made a flowing and comforting aspect to the planet Jupiter, which represents growth, education, and opportunity. Pluto is now moving direct and Jupiter is in retrograde.

Think back to early July for clues to the trine that will be exact again during the last week (the 2nd of 3) of this month. This trine will carry a stronger and more supportive imprint than its first contact in July.

The New Moon in Scorpio on the 26th at 3 degrees will oppose Jupiter and sextile Pluto, bringing intuitive insight and a deeper sense of wellbeing. Mars makes a challenging connection to Venus and requires us to take action. There is the strong possibility of incongruity between our desires, resources, and possibly even relationships.

The Sun moves into Scorpio on the 23rd and positively connects to healing Chiron the following day.

ARIES: The New Moon points to fresh initiatives in resources and financial management. The moon connects with Pluto in your 10th house of career and suggests that the resources of others are involved. There is a strong possibility for earned income through your reputation, career, or community involvement. You are required to problem solve issues that come up involving children/creative projects and shared resources. Jean Services and Fall Reports

TAURUS: Supportive energies align in your desire for adventure. Partnerships must be taken into account as the planets gather in your house of others – this is not the time to go it alone, nor do you want to. The New Moon provides further support in relationship dynamics, but on the same day your partnerships are challenged to incorporate and acknowledge your personal needs and sensitivities. Jean Services and Fall Reports

GEMINI: The New Moon emotionally prepares the way for the Pluto/Jupiter trine, which touches off fresh energy in daily routines and health. This brings awareness to the idea that what you think and feel is what you create. It also brings the knowledge that the instinctual funneling of wellness enhances your psychological empowerment – you can see how all the elements combine to build stronger internal foundations of security. Your mental attitude is being challenged to align with these powerful energies. Jean Services and Fall Reports

CANCER: Once a year you are given extra support in beginning new creative projects, aligning to the child within, and enhancing romance. The New Moon highlights a time to engage with your joy and to deal with any self-esteem issues that come up – acknowledge and clear, acknowledge and clear. Mars is pushing for an internal change to raise your sense of self to a higher level. The Jupiter/Pluto trine will manifest as powerful allies surrounding you to evolve your sense of self. Jean Services and Fall Reports

LEO: Increased comfort and emotional healing are the messages of the New Moon in your 4th house of the inner home and family. The need to make changes in your home is strongly felt at the New Moon as Mars in Leo squares Venus in Scorpio. This pushes you to increase the value in your living space. Life direction, health, and daily regimes will benefit from the changes you make over the next few weeks. Jean Services and Fall Reports

VIRGO: A very compatible New Moon commences and heightens your communicative power and intellectual acumen. The irritating force that Mars brings to the table on the same day is a directive to face your fears on speaking out and telling it like it is. You are supported. The empowering energy of Jupiter trine Pluto will prove that your creative instincts are indeed ready for a broader audience. Jean Services and Fall Reports

LIBRA: It’s the next level of internal integration. You acknowledge your hard-won sense of self-esteem regarding your talents and abilities. The valuable skills you’ve developed have the staying power to go the distance. The New Moon helps you to truly accept how far you’ve come. Family, home, real estate, resources, and psychological health are elevated as the month progresses. Jean Services and Fall Reports

SCORPIO: Happy Birthday Scorpio – the Sun will enter your sign on the 23rd followed by your own personal New Moon on the 27th. Pluto’s transit is uprooting obsolete beliefs and attitudes, and continues to influence health practices and work routines. Your appreciation deepens for your relationships, bringing levels of validating communication to your most important connections. It’s a flowing energy that changes your reality, faith, and self-validation. Jean Services and Fall Reports

SAGITTARIUS: Peace, inner connectedness, rest, and valuable insights are the messages of the New Moon in an area of your chart that embraces your inner spiritual life. The Scorpio energy catalyzes your developing value system and self-worth. Awareness about the true nature of how mind affects health and daily living grows stronger and lifts your understanding to the next level of personal development. Jean Services and Fall Reports

CAPRICORN: A personal goal tied to your creativity may advance over the next few weeks. The New Moon highlights authenticity, dreams, and creative expression. This flowing aspect between your evolving sense of self and your need for genuine avenues of expression are opening wider and increasing the flow. Psychological tension may play a role in your next steps. Jean Services and Fall Reports

AQUARIUS: Your past, perceptions, and family inheritance (think behavior patterns and belief systems) are under Pluto’s transformative hand. He is playing a role in redefining your mental habits and modalities of thought. Jupiter is interested in helping you educate yourself on how to feel more secure in this tumultuous and ever-changing time. Expect a period of “connecting the dots” in a way that is accessible and integrating. A partner’s demands or desires play a role. Jean Services and Fall Reports

PISCES: The New Moon highlights the bigger picture of life’s adventures while opposing the educational and publishing planet Jupiter in the area of unique self-expression. Pluto’s long-term agenda is to transform your goals and dreams. Something is coming together in the near term that is very dear to your heart. This is a goal and cherished desire that most definitely has staying power. Jean Services and Fall Reports

Week Beginning Friday, October 14th

As the numbers continue to grow well into the thousands I think we can safely assume that the American “Spring” has sprung. The first official statement of the protestors in Zuccotti Park in NYC was accepted by the General Assembly on September 29th (see the statement here: Declaration of the Occupation in New York City). Disgust can be a strong motivating force, especially when justice is on your side.

Steve Jobs’ passing last week is a strong reminder to embrace the authentic and find the way to live with your inner passions and, yes, as is so often quoted, “shrug off dogma.” Living a life whose foundational base is built on fitting in and living up to family and societal expectations is draining – for the mind, heart, frequently the body, and the Soul. He is an icon for this time of individuation and truth.

Where do your personal truth, passion, and authenticity lie?  Inner peace and the expanding energy of love are part of this equation too. Many are in this stage of inner exploration, pondering, and experimentation. The inner litmus test is what feels powerful, truthful, and loving for you.

Two weeks ago I was preparing for a client call and discovered I had inadvertently turned on my digital recorder prior to the client session – I discovered my error and turned it off. When I played the mistaken recording back I heard a man’s voice on the recording very clearly repeating the word “hurdle, hurdle.” There was no one else in the room with me – well, not that I could “see” anyway when I had accidentally turned my recorder on that morning.

This is an apt reminder as we engage with the Scorpionic energies that those veils, which seemingly divide us from Source, spirit, and angelic energies, are thinner than we think. Gary Zukov calls it the multi-sensory, which is engaging with our inner senses and remembering who we are – divine and loving creators connected with energy that is constantly flowing. This energy is ours to use and align with when we are awake and aware.

Mercury moved into Scorpio (with Venus) on the 13th. The energies of communication shifted from the outwardly relationship-oriented to the hidden, intuitive, possessive, and, for some, suspicious. Eros (Cupid) the asteroid representing desire, lust, sex, passion, and creativity eased into Cancer on the 11th where the embers burn nurturing hot until mid-November. Over the weekend Mercury meets with Pluto, providing problem solving acumen, insights, and the potential for positive financial planning and movement.

ARIES: The asteroid Eros moved into Cancer on the 11th (and will stay there through mid-November) in the area signifying your home and whom you call “family.” Eros or “Cupid” transits point to expressions of sexuality and creativity and when in Cancer display a nurturing and caring connection with partners. Planets are also gathering in the stimulating 8th house of your chart, suggesting deeper connections with your passions and desires. Money and contracts are active over the weekend as Mercury makes contact with Pluto and then Jupiter. Fall Written Report for Aries - $10.99

TAURUS: Pay attention to your relating patterns within partnerships - you now receive a great deal of insight as to how thoughts and intentions lead to external results when relating to others. Venus warms up other’s responses to you now and Eros may evoke discussions of a very sensual nature. Circle the 20th, which is when the asteroid of desire aligns with Jupiter in your sign to expand all forms of self-expression relating to creativity and passion. Fall Written Report for Taurus - $10.99

GEMINI: Your passions are high regarding the things you own, your talents, sexual self-esteem, and money earnings. As Eros transits your 2nd house she aligns with energies operating in your 6th house of health, mind/body connectedness, and work. Money and sex may be passionate bed partners over the next few weeks. Resources of another nature are highlighted when Mercury opposes Jupiter on Monday – believing in flow, guardian angels, and the power of intention empowers your faith. Fall Written Report for Gemini - $10.99

CANCER: Hey lover boys and girls! You are oozing sex appeal through mid-November while Eros transits your sign. She is providing an “easy flow” to your romantic inclinations and encourages you to step into those passionate and creative waters. A friend may be conjuring up images of tempting interludes as Eros sextiles Jupiter. Additionally, a goal you feel passionate about may come to fruition now as creativity and self-identity align. Communications with lovers and kids are well supported this week. Fall Written Report for Cancer - $10.99

LEO: Home and family activities are elevated with Mercury and Venus transiting your 4th house, ensuring a time of communications and more comfort and pleasure at home. Eros transits your 12th house of the subconscious mind, dreams, and inner connectedness. Now is a great time for focusing on your intentions, which eventually lead to manifestations – if it involves sex, desire, and creativity, allow yourself the luxury of indulgence. Some Leos may be involved in a private and secretive liaison. Fall Written Report for Leo - $10.99

VIRGO: Feeling passionate about your group activities and desires? Do you desire one group member specifically? Eros heats up your casual alliances and acquaintances and elevates your passion for teamwork – no man is an island. Mercury aligns with Pluto over the weekend, encouraging satisfying exchanges with lovers and in creative expression. On the 17th Mercury opposes Jupiter and carries a warning not to take on more than you can handle. Travel, teaching, and writing may be areas of over-exaggeration. Fall Written Report for Virgo - $10.99

LIBRA: Pouring passion into your career aims and community activities? Eros approves. Or perhaps someone in a position of authority is in your sites. Money, resources, and income are flowing well and the weekend may bring additional opportunities, which could be related to property or family holdings. Please don’t overestimate your financial resources on the 17th when Mercury opposes Jupiter in your house of shared assets. Fall Written Report for Libra - $10.99

SCORPIO: You start your new Solar cycle when the Sun moves into your sign on the 23rd. Mercury and Venus are opening your receptive channels and prompting ideas and dialogue (if only internal) this week, bringing your desires to the surface. Mercury sextiles Pluto on Sunday, urging deeper formulations and exchanges. Contracts may be in the picture too. The 17th suggests you take a wait and see approach when Mercury opposes Jupiter in your house of others. Fall Written Report for Scorpio - $10.99

SAGITTARIUS: Eros recently entered your 8th house of psychology, sexuality, and sharing yourself with others. Passions burn bright over the next few weeks, especially when Eros joins your ruling planet Jupiter on the 20th and supplies ample energy around your most personal desires. Creativity in the work place and with shared finances is supported. Mercury and Venus allow you to go deeper within your motives and unconscious drives as they settle into your 12th house of universal connectedness. Additional rest is suggested over the next few weeks leading up to your new solar cycle in December. Fall Written Report for Sagittarius - $10.99

CAPRICORN: Eros, the asteroid ruling desire, sex, and passion, sashayed into your 7th house of others last week. If your relationships could use a little zip, expect some re-awakening. Mercury and Venus are traveling partners in the area of your life that represents personal dreams, goals, and being your authentic “self.” Your social groups respond well to your unscripted interactions, especially on the 16th when Venus aligns with Pluto transiting your sign. Female alliances are in the frame. Fall Written Report for Capricorn - $10.99

AQUARIUS: As Venus and Mercury take up residence in your outer life it’s a good time to show ‘em what ya’ got. You can attract benefactors and influence people to see your way of thinking since you are extra charming and articulate. The Sun will soon join this duo, further lighting your path and providing you with well-deserved praise and growing confidence. Eros in Cancer hints at passionate displays with your work, with a co-worker, and within your sense of physical appeal. Fall Written Report for Aquarius - $10.99

PISCES: As the personal planets move into your fellow water sign of Scorpio it may feel as if you are rising above the personal and psychological dilemmas that have dominated your days these past few weeks. A broader and more philosophical process is available now. You will be able to integrate the deeper chasms of issues around money, sex, and psychological healing. Eros whispers of passions growing in your 5th house of playmates and creativity. Fall Written Report for Pisces - $10.99

Demonstrations are heating up as the Uranus/Pluto energy is clearly being outwardly manifested here in the US. The Occupy Wall Street movement is propagating to more cities and towns across the country in what is now termed Occupy the Planet. We are firmly in the era of individuals speaking truth, no longer content to go along in collusion with the power entities which have been “hiding and abusing” truth. “One hero cannot do it. Each one of us have to be heroes,” stated John Lennon. And, please give a listen to this original song, “A Truth Anthem” by Jordan Okrend it’s beautiful and in my mind embodies the right use of energy as we speak out and act upon injustices.

Similar to the Arab Spring, these acts of civil disobedience (asserted by the NYPD when protesters from the Occupy Wall Street movement marched across the Brooklyn Bridge—and were arrested by police) are the result of individuals collectively gathering to speak out. Notice that Pluto turned direct on the 16th in the bureaucratic sign of Capricorn – the protestors first began to congregate in lower Manhattan on the 17th. Astrologers don’t make this stuff up, folks :).

The lover of beauty, art, justice, and all things esthetic is making her much loved connections this week. Venus will remind us that love, understanding, and compassion are our best energetic forces during these transformative times, which continue to encourage us to stretch, grow, change, and be brave.

On Friday, Neptune trines Venus. This is a day when inspiration and aligning with compassion come easily. Venus then trines informative and healing Chiron as she moves out of Libra and into Scorpio. Passion is the energetic force of Scorpio and her transit will deepen the stakes in both love and money.

The Full Moon shines in Aries at 18 degrees on the 11th and reaches fullness at 9:06 p.m. EST. This lunation opposes Saturn in Libra, highlighting responsibilities, commitments, and, for some, breaking points. The Sun Saturn conjunction moves towards us with heavy steps on Thursday, bringing more follow through and focus around issues highlighted at the Full Moon. There are things to be handled – no shirking allowed.

Venus sextiles Pluto on the 13th as Mercury joins her in investigative Scorpio. This can be an important day for finances. The Sun’s conjunction to Saturn will see some make binding financial agreements or experience a financial breakthrough. Mercury takes up where Venus left off earlier in the week when it trines both Neptune and Chiron – bringing planning and communications to our affections and desires.
